At UVA, Thompson showcased his skills and proved to be a valuable asset, leading the team in receptions with 78 in 2022 and earning All-ACC honors in consecutive seasons. With his unique skill set and adaptability, Thompson aims to make a significant impact for the Lions as he embarks on his professional career in the NFL.
Despite his big stature at 6-4, 218-pounds, he primarily aligned in the slot the past two seasons, impressively catching 131 balls for 1,569 yards during that stretch, earning third-team all-conference honors in 2022.
