Denver Broncos Running Back Returns To Action After Major Injury
The Denver Broncos were one of the NFL's biggest letdowns a season ago, but now with the addition of Sean Payton as their new Head Coach, there's plenty of optimism in the Mile High City as they look to turn it around and compete with the Los Angeles Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs in the stacked AFC West division.
Now, the team have got some great news, as running back Javonte Williams has officially returned to practice after missing most of last season following an ACL and LCL tear, an injury that slowed down this offence significantly.
In his rookie campaign in 2021, Williams rushed for 903 yards and 4 Touchdowns, while adding a further 316 yards and 3 Touchdowns through the air, and if Denver can use him to establish the running game, the offence could bounce back in a big way in 2023.Good news: #Broncos RB Javonte Williams has returned to practice with the team, Sean Payton confirms.
