The 33-year-old player visited the team during free agency after starting the 2022 season on the practice squad of the New Orleans Saints and later being signed by the Denver Broncos.
Murray's experience and solid track record made him an attractive option for the Bills to compete for a spot on the team.
While the Bills already have Damien Harris, James Cook, and Nyheim Hines on their roster, the addition of Murray bolsters their running back position.

With only six draft picks this year, spending one on a running back might not have been the team's priority, but the signing of Murray suggests they are actively exploring all options to improve their roster for the upcoming season.
