Seattle Seahawks Re-Sign Young Wide Receiver
The Seattle Seahawks took a shocking step forward in 2022 on the back of a career year from Geno Smith, as well as breakout seasons from several rookies on the defensive side of the ball, and in 2023, they've got their sights set even higher.
They've made some fantastic moves thus far in the off-season, and while Tuesday's may go under the radar, it was a good move nonetheless, as Seattle officially re-signed young wide receiver Cody Thompson.
Thompson has just 2 years experience at the NFL level, and it yet to catch a pass in the league, but he serves as a solid depth piece, and can get snaps on special teams, so while it may not change their fortune that much, it's a solid move. The #Seahawks are bringing back WR Cody Thompson pic.twitter.com/zI40eg9ckk
