NFL Rumors: Two NFL Teams Almost Traded For Raiders Star Last Off-Season
A few weeks ago, the New York Giants made one of the biggest splashes of the off-season, trading for Las Vegas Raiders offensive weapon Darren Waller, but according to a recent report, there was a good chance he wasn't going to be a Raider for 2022.
Reportedly, the Miami Dolphins and Green Bay Packers were close to acquiring the Pro-Bowl tight end last off-season, and with their loaded offence's last year, it would have been a blockbuster move for either squad.
It's unclear why a move didn't get made, but after a year in which he struggled to stay healthy, he now rejoins a surging New York Giants squad that will give him the chance to bounce back to Pro Bowl form in 2023.Update: The #Dolphins and the #Packers were negotiating a trade with the #Raiders for Pro-Bowl TE Darren Waller last year.
