NFL Rumors: New York Jets Could Bring Back Veteran Center
The New York Jets took a massive step forward in 2022, and with some big names rumoured to be on the way still this off-season, they will need to continue making depth moves if they are to make the playoff jump that is expected in 2023.
With Aaron Rodgers likely their starting QB in Week 1, the offensive line will need to improve, and while the team have been linked to Titans veteran Ben Jones, they are reportedly interested in returning Connor McGovern if a deal with Jones doesn't eventuate.
McGovern has spent the last three seasons in New York, and while he doesn't step into the elite category, he has been more than serviceable, and if Jones isn't brought in, there's certainly much worse options out there.#Jets insider: Rodgers … OBJ … Hardman … Hackett … Becton’s big loss … DTs … ‘designer’ coach … more. https://t.co/pgKce5PSiW
