NFL Rumors: New York Jets All-Pro Could Command Record Contract This Off-Season
The New York Jets took a massive step forward in 2022, and while the attention is often focused on the rookie campaigns of Garrett Wilson and Sauce Gardner, it was the first All-Pro nomination of Quinnen Williams young career that perhaps impacted the team in the greatest manner.
Now, after the contract extension for Titans star Jeffery Simmons, Williams appears to be the next Defensive Tackle to get paid, and now, ESPN writer Rich Cimini is reporting that Quinnen could be targeting between $23 and $25 million on that next deal.
His game has consistently improved over his time in the NFL, so this isn't an unreasonable contract, but with so much drama surrounding Aaron Rodgers and this team right now, it's tough to see when a deal will get done.Update: #Jets DT Quinnen Williams is probably targeting $23-$25 million a year on his next deal, according to @RichCimini
