NFL Rumors: 3 Offseason Dark Horse QB Trade Candidates
The 2023 NFL Offseason has been an eventful one, but it is far from over. As a result, three notable quarterbacks are starting to emerge as dark horse trade candidates. Let's discuss them now.
Tua Tagovailoa: The Miami Dolphins have been linked to Baltimore Ravens star quarterback Lamar Jackson. If they decide to bring him in, it would open the door for them to move Tua Tagovailoa. This would be a massive change at the QB position, as Tua is a former first-rounder who has been seen as the long-term future for Miami. However, could they change things on that front if it means bringing in a former MVP like Jackson?
Mac Jones: There have been rumblings that the New England Patriots are considering a change at quarterback after Mac Jones' rough 2022 season. As a result, there seems to be a chance that we will see him moved before the start of the season. However, for that to occur, the Patriots will need to find a notable upgrade first.
Zach Wilson: The New York Jets are expected to land Aaron Rodgers from the Green Bay Packers, and it could make them move on from Zach Wilson. The 23-year-old struggled immensely this season, and the Jets might be willing to move him, as they are aiming to become contenders now. Thus, this is something to pay attention to from here.
