New York Jets Sign Veteran Defensive Lineman
The New York Jets have been the talk of the NFL this off-season, as they're clearly going all in to be a contender in the very tough AFC, and on Thursday, they made a great depth move along their talented defensive line.
After rumours emerged they were targeting former Seahawks Defensive Lineman Quinton Jefferson, they quickly got a deal done, replacing the veteran presence they had up front when they formed a top-five defence in 2022.
Over his 7-year career, Jefferson has racked up 20.5 sacks, including a career high 5.5 in 2022 with Seattle, and next to Quinnen Williams, John Franklin-Myers and Jermaine Johnson, he will be a key piece in one of the deepest lines in the NFL.OFFICIAL: More strength to the squad! Welcome to NY, Quinton!! ✈
