New York Jets Rumors: 3 Potential Landing Spots for Zach Wilson
The New York Jets are expected to acquire Aaron Rodgers from the Green Bay Packers. Although the expected plan is for them to hold onto Zach Wilson as their QB2, there certainly is also reason to believe that they will be open to moving him if it can help improve their roster elsewhere. Thus, let's go over three possible landing spots for him.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were dealt a major blow this offseason when Tom Brady announced his retirement. They have since replaced the GOAT with Baker Mayfield, and that does not look too encouraging. As a result, they could be open to bringing in Wilson as another option for QB1, as he is young and has the potential to improve as he continues to gain experience.
Minnesota Vikings: The Minnesota Vikings are reportedly looking to move Kirk Cousins. As a result of this, it is quite clear that they would like a new QB, so perhaps they could take a chance on Wilson. Wilson has been linked to Minnesota throughout this offseason, so there could be something brewing here.
Baltimore Ravens: The Lamar Jackson drama has been one of the biggest talking points this offseason. The superstar QB wants out of Baltimore, and the Ravens could be forced to bring in another QB because of it. Therefore, expect them to be among the teams that call the Jets about Wilson as this offseason continues.
