Kansas City Chiefs Sign Young Wide Receiver
The Kansas City Chiefs were once again the best offence in football in 2022, and it led them all the way to another Super Bowl in the Patrick Mahomes era, but after losing two of their top targets this off-season, they needed some new bodies.
On Friday, they made that official as they signed former New York Giants wide receiver Richie James, after a career year in which he hauled in 57 catches for 569 yards and 4 Touchdowns, and he's been rewarded handsomely for that.
With James, the Chiefs receiving core now includes him, Kadarius Toney, Marquez Valdez-Scantling and Skyy Moore, so while there's some unproven names out there, they certainly have the talent to get it done again. The #Chiefs have agreed to terms with WR Richie James, source says. After a breakout season with the #Giants (57 catches for 569 yards and 4 TDs), James becomes a target for Patrick Mahomes in Kansas City.
