Jacksonville Jaguars Looking To Sign Tight End Long Term This Off-Season
The Jacksonville Jaguars took a massive step forward in 2022/23, and with the addition of Calvin Ridley alongside the stacked offence and young superstar Quarterback, this is no doubt a team that will be Super Bowl contenders in the AFC going forward.
One weapon that helped their breakout season immensely was tight end Evan Engram, and after a career year, the team brought him back on the franchise tag, but on Thursday, GM Trent Baalke reiterated that the team would love to get him back on a long-term deal before training camp begins.
Given Engram's recent comments about his love for this team and how he'd like to stay long-term, it appears both sides are working towards a deal, and it would be a major shock to not see a deal done in the coming weeks.#Jaguars GM Trent Baalke told reporters the goal is to get an extension done with franchised TE Evan Engram before training camp.
