Green Bay Packers Sign Special Teams Standout
The Green Bay Packers have signed Dallin Leavitt, a former safety for the Las Vegas Raiders, for the 2023 NFL season.
Leavitt joined the Raiders as an undrafted free agent in 2018 and spent three seasons with the team, primarily playing on special teams.

However, he saw an increase in defensive snaps in the 2021 season, setting a career-high. Last July, the Packers signed Leavitt after hiring Rich Bisaccia as their special teams coordinator, who had previously worked with Leavitt in Las Vegas.
Leavitt played in all 17 games for the Packers last season and recorded 13 tackles.

He also served as the personal protector on the punt team and played on nearly three-fourths of the team's special teams snaps.
A favorite of special team's coach Rich Bisaccia, he described Leavitt as: "He's the Energizer Bunny, the Tasmanian Devil."
With his versatility and ability to contribute in various ways, including on coverage teams and as a safety, Leavitt has a good chance of making it onto the Packers' final roster.
