Buffalo Bills Sign Former Lions Offensive Guard

The Buffalo Bills have signed free agent offensive guard Kevin Jarvis to a one-year contract.

Jarvis, who went undrafted from Michigan State in 2022, was released from injured reserve by the Detroit Lions last year due to an undisclosed injury. With his presumed return to full health, Jarvis will now provide much-needed depth to the Bills' offensive line in the upcoming 2023 season.

At 6-foot-6, Jarvis has 39 games under his belt from his college career, during which he played both guard and tackle positions. He also possesses the versatility that the Bills value in their offensive linemen.

Joining the likes of David Edwards, David Quessenberry, and Connor McGovern as new signings for the Bills' offensive line, Jarvis will work alongside returning players Dion Dawkins, Mitch Morse, Ryan Bates, Spencer Brown, Ike Boettger, and Greg Mancz.

Depth and versatility are crucial in the NFL, and with Jarvis' experience and versatility, he could be a valuable asset to the team. It's good news for Jarvis too, who has the opportunity to prove himself in the NFL after missing out on his debut due to injury last year. Photo Credit: Junfu Han / USA TODAY NETWORK
