BREAKING: New York Jets Officially Land Superstar Quarterback
After an impressive 2022 NFL Draft haul and a solid start to the season, the New York Jets appear on the verge of finally turning around all their bad luck, but there was just one main area they needed to fix; the Quarterback position.
They made their intentions clear of doing just that this off-season when they began targeting four-time NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers, and after weeks and weeks of rumours and reported talks, the Jets have now agreed with the Green Bay Packers to acquire the ageing superstar.
In the deal, the Packers land the No. 13 overall pick, the No. 42 overall pick and the No. 207 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, as well as a conditional 2024 2nd-round pick that becomes a first if Rodgers plays 65% of the plays, while the Jets land Rodgers, the No. 15 and 170 picks in the 2023 NFL Draft.Trade compensation, per sources:
