This extension comes as a surprise to many, given that Jackson had requested a trade earlier in the offseason. However, his past successes, including being named the NFL MVP in 2019, highlight his enormous value to the Ravens.

Despite experiencing regression and injury setbacks in the past two seasons, Jackson's dual-threat skills on the field make him one of the most dangerous players in the game.
