Arizona Cardinals Sign Longtime Vikings Cornerback
The Arizona Cardinals have signed longtime Minnesota Vikings cornerback Kris Boyd.
Boyd, a seventh-round pick in 2019, primarily played on special teams during his time with the Vikings, with 648 special teams snaps and 197 defensive snaps in the past two seasons.

He has started six games throughout his career and has recorded 95 tackles, three pass breakups, four fumble recoveries, and two forced fumbles.
However, his biggest impact has been on special teams, where he has played multiple roles and is considered a standout punt gunner.
Boyd will likely continue to play a similar role on special teams for the Cardinals, who have several defensive assistants that were with the Vikings during Boyd's tenure in Minnesota.
With this move, the Vikings have lost another cornerback, with Patrick Peterson, Duke Shelley, and Cameron Dantzler already having left the team this offseason.
