Another Bidder Joins The Race To Buy The Washington Commanders
Over the weekend, reports emerged that the sale of the Washington Commanders to Josh Harris, the owner of the Philadelphia 76ers and New Jersey Devils, but now, it appears that an agreement may not be officially reached after all.
On Sunday, it was revealed that Brian Davis, a native of Washington D.C. has entered the race with a $7 billion cash offer, which, if accepted would make him the first black owner in the history of the NFL.
Given the Snyder's wish to depart as owners of the Commanders, it's very likely that the highest bidder will make it official in the coming weeks, but after the reports surrounding Harris, nothing can truly be believed until made official.Update: The sale of the #Commanders to Josh Harris for $6.05B might not be finalized as previously reported.
