Washington Commanders Sign Veteran Quarterback
The Washington Commanders took a flier on Carson Wentz last off-season, and as we saw throughout 2022, it was a risk that didn't pay off, and now with young Sam Howell expected to be QB1 in 2023, they have made it a priority to bring in a veteran around him.
Today, the team have made that possible, as they have signed former Cleveland Browns Quarterback Jacoby Brissett, and with Howell expected to compete for the starting role, Jacoby is the perfect competition for that spot.
While he lost his job to the returning DeShaun Watson in 2022, Brissett was solid all season long, and with some solid weapons in Washington along with a great defence, this will no doubt be a great move on and off the field for the Commanders.Commanders expected to sign QB Jacoby Brissett.
