Veteran Quarterback Returning To The New Orleans Saints

The New Orleans Saints made the first big splash this off-season when they landed Derek Carr to be the new starter of the franchise, leaving veteran QB Jameis Winston in an awkward spot, as it appears his chances of being a starter are completely gone now.

News broke in the past few days that surprised many however, as there was a mutual interest in the two sides reuniting, and today, it has been confirmed that Winston will return to the Saints on a one year deal worth up to $8 million.

Winston looked solid at points in 2022, but ultimately lost his job to veteran Andy Dalton, and now he will play behind Carr, and if an opportunity arises for him to play, he will attempt to grab it with both hands.
