Veteran Kicker Linked To Chicago Bears
No team has done more early in this off-season to improve their team around a young Quarterback like the Chicago Bears, and on Friday, they were officially linked to a former star that could help their special teams unit in a big way.
Robbie Gould recently informed the San Francisco 49ers that he wouldn't be returning for the 2023 season, and after the team acquired Zane Gonzalez, it became official, and now, it appears that there's mutual interest in a reunion in Chicago.
In 11 seasons with Chicago, Gould landed 276 of a possible 323 field goals, while being 379/383 on extra points, and even at 40 years old, he still has plenty of gas left in the tank, so this makes sense for both parties.Kicker Robbie Gould said on @ESPN1000 that he would love to play for the Chicago Bears again. "You got to be excited about what Ryan Poles is doing. I love his patience. I absolutely love what he is doing."
