Two Massive Offers Made For The Purchase Of The Washington Commanders
The NFL has been full of non-stop drama and storylines since the off-season officially began, but perhaps the biggest potential story of all is the sale of the Washington Commanders, which could genuinely come at any moment before the 2023 campaign begins.
On Tuesday, it has been confirmed that two parties put in massive $6 billion bids for the organization, and if either one of these are be accepted, it would be a record sale for the NFL or any sports organization around the world.
While a few months ago a sale may not have looked likely, a sale could now potentially go through before the NFL Draft, and while it's not ideal for a team looking to build a winner on the field, it will ultimately be what's best for the NFL.Canadian billionaire Steve Apostolopoulos also has submitted a fully-funded $6 billon offer for the Commanders, sources tell me and @WindhorstESPN.
