Seattle Seahawks Re-Sign Quarterback
The Seattle Seahawks found themselves staring at a Quarterback issue during the 2022 off-season, but after a career year from Geno Smith, he established himself as the starter for the near future with a three-year, $105 million extension in previous weeks.
Yesterday, the Seahawks re-signed the man he battled with last year, as they have brought back Drew Lock on a one-year deal worth $4 million, as he will remain one of the best backup Quarterbacks in the entire NFL.
With a high draft pick, the Seahawks haven't discounted taking a Quarterback for the future as well, so it's safe to say that there's few teams in the NFL that are set up better at the position than the Seattle Seahawks.#Seahawks have agreed to terms with QB Drew Lock on a one-year deal worth $4 million base with incentives that can take it to $7.5 million, source says. Seattle brings both Geno Smith and Lock back for 2023.
