Seattle Seahawks Land Star Defensive Tackle
The Seattle Seahawks surprised the entire NFL this past season as they snuck into an NFC Wild Card spot on the back of a career year from Geno Smith and a promising young defence, and in 2023, they'll be looking to prove that they are once again a legitimate threat.
Today, they made a massive splash signing as they have reeled in Dre'Mont Jones, a young defensive tackle from the Denver Broncos who broke out in a big way this past season, racking up 47 tackles, 6.5 sacks and 9 tackles for loss for the elite Denver defence.
Final numbers, per sources: 3 years, $51M for Dre’Mont Jones. What a massive addition for Pete Carroll, John Schneider and the #Seahawks’ defense.

The deal has been confirmed as three-years, $51 million for the 26-year old, and if he can replicate the success from Denver in Seattle, this will be one of the best defences in the NFC, giving the Seahawks a chance to once again be a Super Bowl threat.
