San Francisco 49ers Rumors: Free-Agent Cornerback On Team's Radar

According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, the San Francisco 49ers are interested in signing free-agent DB Lonnie Johnson.

Johnson spent this past season with the Tennessee Titans, where he recorded 11 combined tackles in 12 games played. Overall, it was a fairly quiet season for him, but now he will be aiming to make a bigger impact for the team who ends up signing him. Now, we have confirmation that there is a legitimate chance that it could very well be the 49ers.

Johnson has made appearances in each of the last four seasons split between the Houston Texans and Titans. In 56 career games, he has recorded 183 combined tackles to go along with three interceptions. We will now need to wait and see if he has the opportunity to improve upon these career stats as a 49er this season from here.
