Jimmy Garoppolo's time with the San Francisco 49ers is set to come to a close, as he will be a free agent shortly. The 31-year-old is one of the top QBs available this offseason, so interest in his services is starting to increase noticeably. Here are the three current frontrunners in the Garoppolo sweepstakes.

Las Vegas Raiders: The Las Vegas Raiders may have Aaron Rodgers as their primary QB target, but if the Green Bay Packers decide to keep him or move him elsewhere, the Raiders are expected to go all-in for Garoppolo. After letting go of Derek Carr, they need another high-impact QB, and Jimmy G can be just that whilst playing at his best.

New York Jets: Carr is reportedly set to sign with the New Orleans Saints, and he was one of the New York Jets' top targets. As a result, we should not be surprised to see them now focus their attention on Garoppolo. They have made it known that they want to add a veteran QB to their group.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are starting to become a dark horse candidate for Garoppolo. It ultimately makes sense, as Tom Brady has retired, and Garoppolo would be an upgrade over Kyle Trask at QB1. Signing Garoppolo would allow Tampa Bay to remain competitive in 2023, so look for them to make a push for him.
