San Francisco 49ers Re-Sign Young Tight End
The San Francisco 49ers were arguably the best team in the NFL throughout the 2022 season, but injuries came at very poor times and they ended up falling just one game short of facing the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl for the second time in the past five years.
With the pieces that this team has, they'll be looking to go a step further in 2023, and today, they made a solid move for chemistry reasons, as tight end Ross Dwelley has officially been re-signed for his sixth season in San Francisco.
Dwelley was un-drafted in 2018, and has been with the 49ers ever since, and while he has only racked up 506 yards and 5 Touchdowns, he's a great locker room presence and bringing him back for depth at the position was key.The #49ers have re-signed TE Ross Dwelley, bringing him back to San Francisco for a sixth season.
