Saints Rumors: Quarterback Finished in New Orleans

With the New Orleans Saints signing Derek Carr, they are now expected to release Jameis Winston shortly.

Winston will now be one of the more notable quarterbacks available on the free-agent, and he should receive plenty of interest around the league because of it. This is especially so when fellow quarterbacks like Jimmy Garoppolo and Baker Mayfield find their new homes.

Winston appeared in three games this past season with the Saints, where he threw four touchdowns, five interceptions, and 858 yards. Overall, it was a rough year for him, but he also had an excellent year the season before that saw him throw 14 touchdowns and just three interceptions in seven games. As a result, expect some teams to go after him due to his recent past success.
