Reported Contract Demands For Star Wide Receiver Revealed
When free agency opens next week, it's expected to be a traditional free for all, with every name on the market looking to get paid, and among those names is veteran Odell Beckham Jr., who put on a workout for 12 NFL teams this past Friday in order to return to the league.
After suffering an ACL injury in the Los Angeles Rams Super Bowl win, Beckham was close to making a return last season, but waited until he was 100% healthy, so now, he will begin negotiating a new contract in the coming weeks.
There's expected to be many teams interested, and this weekend, it has been revealed that he is seeking $20M per year on that deal, and while he may not get it, it's an understandably starting point for such a proven star at the wide receiver position.Update: Free-agent WR Odell Beckham is seeking a $20 million a year contract, per Mike Florio.
