Philadelphia Eagles Sign Veteran Quarterback
Early yesterday, news broke that the Indianapolis Colts had officially signed the Philadelphia Eagles 2022 backup Quarterback Gardner Minshew, leaving the team without a backup, but it certainly didn't take them long to fill that void.
Late on Thursday night, the Eagles signed veteran QB Marcus Mariota to a one-year deal worth $5 million, after he showed that he's still get plenty left in the tank with the Atlanta Falcons during the 2022 season.
At this point, it looks like the Eagles have very few weaknesses, and with Mariota having a similar skillset to starting QB Jalen Hurts, he will step into the starting role if needed with confidence.Former Falcons’ QB Marcus Mariota reached agreement with the Philadelphia Eagles on a one-year, $5 million deal worth up to $8 million, per source.
