Philadelphia Eagles Part Ways With Veteran Coach
Although they fell short in the biggest game of the year, the Philadelphia Eagles once again had a phenomenal season, and teams around the league clearly took notice in a big way, as both of their coordinators left for Head Coaching opportunities elsewhere in the NFL.
After plenty of searching, the team have officially hired two new Coordinators, and after looking outwards to land Sean Desai as the new Defensive Coordinator, they've now mutually parted ways with pass game coordinator and DB's Coach Dennard Wilson.
It's unsurprising given that he was passed over for an outside hire, but after being a coach in the NFL for various organizations since 2012, there's no doubting that the promising 40-year old coach will be able to find work elsewhere. After being a finalist for the #Eagles DC job that went to Sean Desai, Philly defensive pass game coordinator and DBs coach Dennard Wilson and the team are mutually parting ways, sources say. This is often the outcome when an in-house candidate is passed over for a promotion.
