Patriots To Sign LB Board On A 2-Year Deal
The Patriots are reportedly signing linebacker Chris Board to a two-year deal worth up to an approximate $6.7 million, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

Board, a former undrafted free agent, originally signed with the Ravens on June 1, 2018 and played all 16 games that season and signed a one-year extension with the team. He played for the Lions last season after signing a one-year deal with them in March 23, 2022.
The 27-year-old is also a capable special teams player and was even called a "very hard guy to matchup against," by his now current head coach Bill Belichek last season when he called Board the best special teams player New England would face in 2022-23, per ESPN's Mike Reiss.

Board has appeared in 80 games and four playoff campaigns. He has recorded 115 tackles, eight quarterback hits, and 2.5 sacks.
