The Patriots have signed Corliss Waitman, formerly of the Steelers and Broncos. He also had a stint on the Patriots' practice squad in 2021.
Waitman, who previously had a stint with the Patriot's practice squad in 2021, signed to the Steelers as an undrafted free agent on April 28, 2020, and was waived on May 3, 2021. He also spent a brief second stint with the Steelers before he inked a deal with Denver last year and appeared in all 17 games for the Colorado club.
In Week Three of the 2022-23 season, Waitman notably won AFC Special Teams Player of the Week when he punted 10 times (six of them inside the 20-yard line), and helped push the Broncos to a 11-10 victory against the San Francisco 49ers.
Waitman departed Denver this past week when the Broncos signed punter Riley Dixon.
