NFL Rumors: New Orleans Saints Working To Extend Superstar Wide Receiver
The New Orleans Saints were one of the most disappointing teams in the NFL in 2022, but after acquiring star Quarterback Derek Carr already this off-season, it's clear they're not headed toward a rebuild, and believe they can compete in 2023.
While the original thought was that veteran wide receiver Michael Thomas would be a salary cap casualty, now the complete opposite is being reported, as it looks like the team is working to extend the once elite wide receiver.
He's played just 8 games in the past three seasons, but when healthy, he can still be a massive threat, and with Chris Olave on the other side now, this could be a very dangerous offensive unit if they can stay healthy for 2023.Update: The #Saints are working on a contract extension with WR Michael Thomas, per @nick_underhill
