NFL Rumors: New Orleans Saints Offer Veteran QB A Restructured Deal

The New Orleans Saints made the first big move of this off-season this past week when they brought in Derek Carr, and with Andy Dalton and Jameis Winston both on the roster, it became clear that someone has to go.

Many pointed out that Winston would be the obvious candidate, but it appears the Saints aren't so eager to let him go, as they have now officially offered him a restructured contract to keep him in New Orleans for 2023.

The New Orleans Saints have offered QB Jameis Winston a restructured deal to stay, per sources. Winston has until Wednesday to accept the offer because of the start of the league year or he will be released.

Winston surprisingly lost his starting role to Dalton last season, and now, it appears they're trying to go with all three on the roster at once, and given the impressive group of weapons they've put together, they could come into 2023 as the favourite in the NFC South.
