NFL Rumors: New England Patriots Players Preferred One Starting QB Over The Other In 2022

The New England Patriots were solid in 2022, but weren't able to put together enough momentum and consistency to push for a playoff spot, and throughout the season, it was rumoured that the Quarterback position could be a big reason for that.

Unsurprisingly, veteran defensive back Devin McCourty confirmed yesterday that within the locker room, many Patriots players preferred rookie Bailey Zappe over Mac Jones, but due to his high draft status, Jones remained the starter when he was healthy.

Going into 2023, it appears that right now this will be the Quarterback battle again, but after making this opinion public, it may certainly change some things within the locker room, but only time will tell what's going to happen.
