NFL Rumors: Four Quiet Favorites To Sign Veteran Running Back
The Los Angeles Chargers are the current front-runners, as they now have Elliott's former offensive coordinator, Kellen Moore, running the offense and are dealing with Austin Ekeler's trade request.
Ezekiel Elliott to the Chargers seems to make decent sense with Kellen Moore there… not a lot of good landing spots left for the 3 time pro-bowler. Where do you want him to land?

The Kansas City Chiefs are also a strong contender, with over $9 million in cap space and a need for a reliable running back.
Meanwhile, the Chicago Bears have the most cap space available to sign Elliott, and also have a need at running back following the departure of David Montgomery.

Finally, the Los Angeles Rams are also among the top 10 favorites to sign Elliott, as adding him could provide a veteran presence without breaking the bank.
The Rams could benefit from Elliott's past history as a bruising back in short-yardage and goal line situations, given their lack of depth and experience at the position.

Despite a relatively quiet start to the free agency period, it appears that Elliott will have no shortage of suitors.
Ultimately, the decision will come down to what Elliott prioritizes most, whether it be money, comfort, the chance to win a championship, or a combination of these factors. Photo Credit: Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports
