NFL Rumors: Detroit Lions Linked To Two Star Defensive Free Agents
The Detroit Lions have been active in the offseason, working to bolster their defense after finishing with the worst defense in the league in 2022.
They have added some new players to their secondary, and now they are looking to improve their front seven. One way they could do that is by signing linebacker Bobby Wagner and defensive end Leonard Floyd.
Multiple sources have linked the Lions to the two stud defenders this offseason.
Bobby Wagner to the @Lions? Both sides are talking and a deal is most likely to be done sometime this week. #OnePride. Now go get @Lj_era8, he’s the QB you win with.

Wagner is a highly experienced and productive linebacker who has recorded over 100 tackles in each of his last 11 seasons and receiving All-Pro honors for nine consecutive seasons.
The Lions struggled at linebacker last season and could benefit from Wagner's leadership and performance on the field.
Floyd, on the other hand, is a talented pass-rusher who has recorded at least nine sacks in each of his last three seasons. While the Lions had some success with rookie defensive ends in 2022, they lacked consistent production from their other defensive ends.
Floyd could provide a much-needed boost to their pass rush.

Both Wagner and Floyd would bring veteran leadership and talent to the Lions' defense.
