NFL Rumors: Cleveland Browns Looking to Make Major Move

The Cleveland Browns had a rough 2022 season that saw them finish with a 7-10 record. As a result of their struggles, they are set to make changes to their group in hopes of becoming a playoff team again in 2023. One area that needs improvement is their running game, and they are reportedly set to make a major push for Saquon Barkley in free agency because of it.

The New York Giants are still making a push to sign Barkley, but if they are unable to come to terms on a new contract by March 15, the Browns are ready to make a major offer for the star running back. It makes sense, as he is coming off of a season that saw him record 10 touchdowns, 295 rushes, and 1,312 rushing yards. Needless to say, the Browns would benefit greatly from this kind of offense.

Yet, other teams like the Miami Dolphins, Chicago Bears, and Kansas Chiefs are all expected to make a run for Barkley if he becomes a free agent as well. Alas, we will need to wait and see if the Browns can win the sweepstakes from here.
