NFL Rumors: Cincinnati Bengals Engaged In Extension Talks With Superstar QB
The Cincinnati Bengals were once seen as the laughing stock of the AFC North, but in 2020, all of that turned around the Bengals landed Joe Burrow at No. 1 overall, and since that point, they've been on a trajectory that could land them a Super Bowl any year now.
They've had success in recent years due to the rookie contract for Burrow, but now the time has come to begin the talks about a long-term extension, and when asked about this at the NFL owners meetings, it's been confirmed that the two sides have been engaged in conversation about it.
Given the contracts for the likes of Daniel Jones and DeShaun Watson in recent times, it wouldn't surprise anyone if Burrow and Justin Herbert broke the NFL record once again, and while neither have won a Super Bowl yet, they've both shown tremendous talent and certainly deserve it.From the NFL owners meetings:
