NFL Rumors: Carolina Panthers Have Made Calls About Star Quarterback
It recent times, it's becoming more and more apparent to those in the know that the Green Bay Packers and four-time MVP Quarterback Aaron Rodgers are heading for a split this off-season, and with plenty of teams searching for a veteran QB for 2023, there will be plenty of interest for him.
The New York Jets are the team most linked to Rodgers, but with the Indianapolis Colts and Las Vegas Raiders looking for QB help as well, they're in the mix, but on Thursday, ESPN's Adam Schefter confirmed that the Carolina Panthers have now officially reached out to Green Bay about Rodgers' availability.
With a top wide receiver in D.J. Moore and a fantastic run game, the Panthers have a shot in the wide open NFC South in 2023 if they can find their Quarterback, but the Packers are seemingly intent on sending A-Rod to the AFC, so we will certainly see how this plays out over the coming weeks. The #Panthers have called the #Packers to inquire about QB Aaron Rodgers, according to @AdamSchefter on NFL Live. pic.twitter.com/wgAcu8TZGF
