NFL Rumors: 2 Frontrunners for D.J. Chark Emerge

At the time of this writing, DJ Chark is still a free agent, but things could change on that front shortly. This is because he is garnering interest from two teams - the Detroit Lions and Carolina Panthers.

Chark spent this past season with the Lions, where he recorded three touchdowns, 30 receptions, and 502 receiving yards in 11 games played. Overall, it was a solid year for him, so it makes sense that the Lions want to bring him back. However, he is looking for a raise, and he hasn't received a strong enough offer for him to go back to Detroit just yet. As a result, the Panthers have now joined the sweepstakes.

The Panthers have been very busy this offseason, and they are not done making additions. This is because they are aiming to become a playoff team again, and bringing in a high-impact wide receiver like Chark could be a good way to help make that come to fruition.

Nevertheless, we will need to wait and see where Chark ends up going from here.
