New York Jets Veteran Tackle Will Play On In 2023
The New York Jets may have had a fantastic 2022 season, but unfortunately, they fell apart late in the season, and they will now need another great off-season if they are to end their 12-year playoff drought in the 2023 NFL season.
Today, they got the first major boost of that move, as veteran tackle Duane Brown has informed the team he will forego retirement and officially return to the team in 2023, and with Alijah Vera-Tucker, Max Mitchell and Mekhi Becton all expected to be back from injury, this is a major boost for the offensive line.
This will mark his 17th season in the NFL, and while he's not playing at the level he once was, he is still a valuable asset to New York, and with the uncertainty across the rest of the line, slotting him in at left tackle will be a major plus for this team each and every week.Jets' Brown plans to return for 17th NFL season https://t.co/HZprLiLqFd
