New York Jets Re-Sign Young Linebacker
The New York Jets are hoping to break some massive news in the coming days, but for now, they will stick to making solid moves that make this team better in the long-term, and today, they did just that with their first signing of the off-season.
Today, the team have officially re-signed young linebacker Quincy Williams, the young brother of superstar Quinnen, giving him a three-year, $18M deal after an impressive 2022 campaign that saw him lock down the starting role.
In 2022, the fourth pro career for the 26-year old, Williams racked up 106 tackles, 3 sacks and 1 pass defended, and was one of the biggest difference makers for this Jets defence all season long, and at this price, it's a fantastic contract for both parties. The #Jets agreed to terms with LB Quincy Williams on a three-year, $18 million deal that maxes out at $21M with incentives, per source.
