New York Jets Confirm Zach Wilson's Role For 2023
The New York Jets showed plenty of promise early in 2022, but once the responsibility of the offence was put on the shoulders of sophomore QB Zach Wilson, he failed mightily, with plenty of people around the league now questioning his future in the NFL.
With their connections to Aaron Rodgers, his future in New York was up in the air, but on Monday, Head Coach Robert Saleh confirmed that Wilson will head into 2023 as QB2 on the depth chart, with the influence of Rodgers likely very helpful to his improvement.
While things look bleak for Wilson at this point, the addition of Rodgers could do wonders for his career, and if things go well, the Jets could rehabilitate him enough to be the face of this franchise for the next decade once AR12 is finished.Robert Saleh says that Zach Wilson will be the #Jets No. 2 quarterback
