New York Giants Sign Cornerback
The New York Giants have made a move, signing cornerback Leonard Johnson to a three-year deal.
Seeing Johnson sign with the Giants is not all that surprising, as he visited them earlier this week. Now, he has officially found his new home with them, and he will be aiming to make a big impact for them in 2023 and beyond.
Johnson completed his four-year tenure with Duke University in 2021, but a long-term injury took away his entire 2022 campaign. As a result, he was unable to find a home in the NFL, but now things have changed on that front.
Over the course of his four-year collegiate career, Johnson recorded 165 combined tackles to go along with 2.0 sacks and six interceptions. We will now need to wait and see how well he performs in the NFL as a Giant from here.
