New York Giants Officially Release Veteran Wide Receiver
Each and every year, there are deals handed out in free agency that backfire on teams, and there's very few that have backfired worse than the big money contract given to wide receiver Kenny Golladay by the New York Giants.
After signing a four-year, $72 million deal ahead of the 2021 season, Golladay would go on to secure just 43 catches for 602 yards and 1 Touchdown in two seasons, and received widespread criticism from Giants fans for that performance.
At 29-years of age, Golladay still has plenty left in the tank, and while he won't be getting that type of money on his next deal, he'll no doubt contribute to a team in some capacity, no matter where he ends up in the coming months. The Giants have now officially released WR Kenny Golladay.
