New York Giants Contract Offer To Star QB Revealed
While a lot of the attention this off-season has been placed on the ongoing situation with Aaron Rodgers and Derek Carr, the situation in New York has been one to watch as well, as the Giants and Daniel Jones have been a part of ongoing contract extensions for the young Quarterback.
While Jones is reportedly seeking over $45M per season on a new contract, the Giants have already said they won't go to a number that high, and yesterday, it was officially revealed that the team have offered him a contract with an annual value of between $35M and $39M.
Only time will tell whether the two sides can come to a deal, but it's hard to see Jones getting that money from any other team in the NFL, but now we will see whether or not he takes a long-term deal or potentially gets franchise tagged.Update: The #Giants have offered QB Daniel Jones a contract worth between $35 to $39 million per year, a source tells @AlbertBreer
