New Orleans Saints Sign Star Running Back
The New Orleans Saints were one of the most disappointing teams in the NFL in 2022, as they were expected to compete for a wide open NFC South crown, and it appears that for 2023, they are doing everything they can to avoid a repeat of that.
After getting Chris Olave in the 2022 NFL Draft, the Saints have now added Derek Carr, brought back Michael Thomas and today, the team has officially signed former Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers running back Jamaal Williams.
After punching in 17 Touchdowns in 2022, the market for Williams was always going to be hot, and now he joins a talented offensive unit in New Orleans on a three-year deal as they look to gain ascendency in a competitive NFC South race. The #Saints and former #Lions RB Jamaal Williams have agreed to terms on a 3-year deal, source said.
