Edwards, who is 24 years old, will be reuniting with his former teammate Derek Carr in New Orleans. Despite being a former third-round pick, Edwards has struggled to secure a consistent role in the NFL, having only recorded 48 receptions, 779 yards, and four touchdowns in parts of three seasons.
He was released by the Atlanta Falcons after just seven games in the previous season. While Edwards has shown potential to be a valuable option in the league, he has yet to fully demonstrate his abilities.
